Symposium to Celebrate New Book on International Law

Anne OrfordThe Faculty of Law at Lund University and the Raoul Wallenberg Institute are hosting a public symposium on November 28 to celebrate the launch of “The Oxford Handbook of the Theory of International Law”, edited by Anne Orford, the Raoul Wallenberg Visiting Chair of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, and Florian Hoffmann, Professor of Law at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio).

The symposium is convened by Gregor Noll, a professor at the Lund University Faculty of Law and a board member of the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, and Anne Orford.

It will feature three panels with nine of the authors in the book. The symposium will be followed by a reception in the Galleria. Registration is required.

“The Oxford Handbook of the Theory of International Law”, published by Oxford University Press, is meant to act as a guide to the people, ideas, approaches, and debates that have formed contemporary international legal theory. It features 48 original essays.
